Usability

As part of our aim to have a high quality, useful website we have carried out usability work to drive improvements.

We monitor the website continuously and gather feedback from visitors on how they think we can make improvements or on what we are doing well.

From time to time we also run online questionnaires to help gather feedback.

We also carry out usability testing where we invite citizens to work through scenarios on our website while we monitor how they get on so we can make improvements.

We try to use a wide range of people with different abilities and needs so we can form a full picture of the developments needed on our site.

Occasionally we will engage other organisations to carry out tests on our website and these results also help form decisions on work on our website.

You may also like to find out more about accessibility standards we work to and information on how our content is added to the website.
