Public protection

The Public Protection Department incorporates the Public Analyst, Community Safety and Trading Standards Services.  The Community Safety Unit work in partnership to reduce crime and anti-social behaviour and make our communities safer and better places to live and work in. The Trading Standards Service provides consumer advice and enforces trading standards laws.
