Changing font size
Alternatively you can re-size the font using your web browser - instructions on how to do this are available on this page.
These instructions may also work for other versions of the same web browser.
Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0, 5.5 and 6.0
- Open your browser.
- Choose the drop down menu at the top of the browser window marked View.
- A list of options will appear in the drop down menu. Choose the Text Size option.
- Next another drop down menu should appear with options including Smallest, Smaller, Medium, Larger, Largest.
- The browser will normally be on the Medium setting.
- To increase the font size select Large or Largest.
- To decrease the font size select Smaller or Smallest.
- The text in your browser window should now appear larger or smaller.
Firefox
- Open your browser.
- Choose the drop down menu at the top of the browser window marked View.
- A list of options will appear in the drop down menu. Choose the Text Size option.
- Next another drop down menu should appear with options including Increase, Decrease and Normal.
- The browser will normally be on the Normal setting.
- To increase the font size select Increase.
- The text in your browser window should now appear larger.
Safari
- Open your browser.
- Choose the drop down menu at the top of the browser window marked View.
- A list of options will appear in the drop down menu.
- Choose the Make Text Bigger option.
- The text in your browser window should now appear larger.
Netscape Navigator 6.2 and 7.0
- Open your Netscape browser.
- Hold down the Ctrl button on your keyboard and press the plus (+) key.
- You will find that this will enlarge the text. To increase the size further repeat the procedure.
- Keep repeating until the text is enlarged to your requirements.
- If you need to make the text smaller press Ctrl on your keyboard and the minus ( - ) key.
- The text in your browser window should now appear larger.

If enlarging the font size using your browser window doesn't make the text big enough for you, you may wish to consider investing in a piece of screen magnification software.
This type of software can magnify the contents of a screen up to 16 times and prices vary depending on the features of the particular package.
