Our website uses the access key system to help you move around the site without using a mouse or similar device.

We have used the Government standard access key system and this enables you to navigate the site using only your keyboard.

How to use access keys

Using access keys depends on the internet browser you are using to view this website. Please follow the advice for your browser below:

  • Internet Explorer four - Press the 'Alt' key and the number for the access key shortcut you require at the same time.

  • Internet Explorer five - Press the 'Alt' key and the number for the access key shortcut you require at the same time, then press the 'Enter' key.

  • Internet Explorer six - Press the 'Alt' key, the number for the access key shortcut you require and the 'Enter' key at the same time.  

  • Internet Explorer seven - Press the 'Alt' key, the number for the access key shortcut you require and then release them before pressing the 'Enter' key.

  • Netscape six (and onward) - Click anywhere on the page, then press the 'Alt' key and the relevant access key shortcut at the same time. Please note: earlier versions of Netscape do not support access keys.

  • Mozilla/Firefox - Press the 'Alt' key and the relevant access key shortcut at the same time.

  • Safari - Press the 'Ctrl' key and the relevant access key shortcut at the same time.

  • Internet Explorer five for Mac - Press the 'Ctrl' key and the relevant access key at the same time. Please note: Internet Explorer 4.5 for Mac does not support access keys.
