Extra care housing in Derbyshire

Extra care housing is part of our plan to deliver accommodation, care and support to older people.

Purpose built accommodation with extra support

Extra care housing is the name given to purpose-built accommodation with care and support for older and vulnerable people.

Extra care housing is designed to offer people the opportunity for more independence and having their own front door while having the reassurance of staff on-site 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. Additional, regular support can be arranged for those who need it.

Help to remain independent

Do you need to leave your home because of life changes, health problems or because you have concerns about where you live?

Have you had an assessment and an identified need for care, or you feel may need additional support in the future?

Are you over 55?

If you want to stay in control of your life, have privacy and independence but need some help with day-to-day living, then extra care housing could be what you are looking for. Applications will be considered for younger people with additional needs, such as learning disabilities or caring responsibilities.
