Furniture re-use projects

Old Furniture

Are you getting rid of your unwanted furniture? Is it in good condition? Could someone else re-use it?

If your answer is yes to all three, then think about getting in touch with your local furniture re-use project.

There are six projects currently running in Derbyshire.

Find out more about each of the projects then give them a ring and let them breathe life into your old stuff!

What to do if your furniture isn't suitable for re-use

If you think your unwanted furniture is not suitable for reuse, you can take it to any of our Household Waste Recycling Centres for disposal free of charge.

Alternatively your local district council will provide a bulky household waste collection service under which they will collect old furniture from your property, they may make a charge for this.
