Recycle
If you have just a small amount of soil (a maximum of two bags) you can take it to your local household waste recycling centre.
If you have large quantities of soil, hire a skip or skip bag from a permitted company.
Reuse
Check with your local allotment group to see if they can use your unwanted soil.
Advertise it on your local Freecycle (opens in a new window) or freegle (opens in a new window) network.
