Environmental Management
In April 2002, Environmental Services gained certification to the internationally recognised standard ISO 14001 (Environmental Management Systems) for its commitment to protect the environment, prevent pollution and save resources as set out in our Environment Policy.
We are committed to mainstreaming sustainable development in all our policies, plans and programmes. This principle is promoted by us through the continued implementation of our Environment Management System (EMS). The EMS provides a structured way of looking at our work processes.
We can then take steps to improve our environmental performance and prevent pollution. Lessons learnt in one area can be used in others, so quickly spreading the message of good environmental management.
