Historic Building Repair Grant Schemes

If you live or work in other conservation areas (opens in a new window) within Derbyshire, grants may be available towards repairing and restoring your home or business premises.

Grant schemes are currently operating in the following areas:

  • Chesterfield (town centre)

  • Bolsover (Creswell)

  • Erewash (Long Eaton)

  • High Peak (Buxton, Chapel-en-le-Frith, Glossop and New Mills)

  • South Derbyshire (Swadlincote).

The schemes are usually area based partnership schemes, with the primary aim of improving the appearance, character and vitality of the Areas through heritage-led regeneration.

Additionally, some districts operate their own historic building repair grant schemes.

Programmes of grant aid currently running within the various districts of Derbyshire, including Lottery-funded Townscape Heritage Initiatives (THI’s), are listed below with links to each website.
