ConservationDesign

Caring for Derbyshire's built and natural heritage.

We look after the built and natural environment, including:

  • Management of the built, historic and natural environment including archaeology, historic buildings, conservation areas, urban design, landscape design, ecology and World Heritage.

  • Environmental studies - with fieldwork opportunities for the study of, and care for, the urban and natural environment and the provision of Forest Schools for young people across Derbyshire.

  • The promotion of biodiversity, particularly for lowland Derbyshire.
