Here are the term dates for the 2009/2010 and 2010/2011 academic years.

Please note there are calendar-style term date documents available to download at the bottom of this page.

2009/2010 academic year

  • 4 September 2009 to 23 October 2009 (36 teaching days)
  • 2 November 2009 to 21 December 2009 (36 teaching days)
  • 4 January 2010 to 12 February 2010 (30 teaching days)
  • 22 February 2010 to 1 April 2010 (29 teaching days)
  • 19 April 2010 to 28 May 2010 (29 teaching days)
  • 7 June 2010 to 23 July 2010 (35 teaching days)

Schools may wish to allocate 4 September and 21 December 2009 as training days and take them as twilight sessions on other dates.
