Building Schools for the Future was a major programme for investing in secondary schools.

Under the programme we were able to provide new buildings for:

• Springwell Community School
  Further details of this project can be found in the Student's inspired by state-of-the-art school press release

• The Bolsover School and Heritage School.

These projects were completed in 2010.

Contracts for the final projects to be delivered under the Building Schools for the Future programme were signed on 12 April 2011.

These projects provide replacement facilities for Stubbin Wood Special School and Shirebrook Academy. See the Students celebrate as work begins on new building press release.

A further project at Netherthorpe School provides a mixture of new build and refurbishment.

Other than the projects mentioned above, the Building Schools for the Future programme has ended.
