Moving from primary to secondary school

If your child is born between 1 September 1998 and 31 August 1999 you can find all you need to know about applying for a place at secondary school in How to apply for a place at secondary school – a guide for parents 2010-11.

You can apply online (opens in a new window) or by phone to Call Derbyshire 08 456 058 058 or may fill in a paper application form if you prefer.

If you want to apply for a secondary school place other than at the normal transfer time, for example following a change of address, download the In-Year (mid-year) secondary admissions form from the related documents section and send it to us.
