Parents' guide

The information contained in this guide relates to the admission of children to reception classes for the 2009/2010 academic year. It also applies to children who will transfer from infant school to junior school in September 2009.

You can apply for a primary school place online or by phone by ringing Call Derbyshire on 08 456 058 058.

For children starting primary school or transferring to junior school in September 2009 you can make your application from Friday 31 October 2008.

We must have received your application either online, through Call Derbyshire or by post, by 3.30pm on Friday 12 December 2008.

We will post the offer for your place on 27 March 2009. If you apply online you will also be able to log on to the website from this date to view your offer.

"You can also apply using the paper application form included in the admissions pack.

"We are keen to work with you to make sure that starting school is a positive experience for your son or daughter and to help them achieve their full potential in a safe and caring environment.
