Meadow Lodge accessible disabled accommodation

The freedom and support to completely relax at a purpose built modern and accessible single storey accommodation for people with additional needs or disabilities, Meadow Lodge is set within 25 acres of parkland on-site at Lea Green Centre.

In close proximity to Matlock and Matlock Bath, the site is ideal as an option for a central/ Midlands venue with good rail links and road links with the M1 being just under 10 miles away.

Rotherham United Community Sports Trust and Newman School said:

"Time at Meadow Lodge provided the chance for young people to improve in confidence, communication, skills, independence, teamwork and gave them an experience to remember away from home."

Your stay at Meadow Lodge

Meadow Lodge has been designed to accommodate anyone with additional needs, their families, carers and friends.

Meadow Lodge provides ideal group accommodation for a holiday or short break. Located on the edge of the Peak District near Matlock, there is plenty to see and do in the surrounding area.

We've had families stay with us to celebrate Christmas and New Year so they could all be together in shared self-catering accommodation and have even arranged a hot tub on the decking area for a birthday party!

Schools, academies and groups

Youth and community groups, special schools, or mainstream schools with pupils who have additional needs find Meadow Lodge accommodation to be a spacious home away from home. As well as inclusive outdoor activities to get involved in, sessions in the on-site soft play facility run throughout the year for groups with additional needs.

We support a variety of individuals to have a relaxed break in the quiet location of the lodge, some visit us on a regular basis and join us with carers to benefit from the adapted accommodation.
