Childcare Start Up
Thinking of starting up a childcare business or becoming a childminder?
If you are thinking of becoming a childminder or setting up a day nursery, out of school club - before or after school, holiday playscheme or creche then we can help! We offer:
- friendly, informal briefing sessions where you can come and hear more about what is involved
- free guidance, support and training during the OFSTED registration process
- information about possible sources of funding and how to apply.

- what qualities you will need
- OFSTED - the registration process
- running your own business
- training you might need.
