About National Deaf Children's Society (NDCS)

The National Deaf Children's Society (NDCS) is the leading charity dedicated to creating a world without barriers for deaf children and young people. We help families give the best possible support to their deaf child every step of the way. Deaf children and young people are at the heart of our work. We make sure their needs come first, and we help others do the same. We give expert unbiased support to help deaf children and their parents make informed choices about their lives. We work together with others to positively challenge unfairness. We're here for you whenever you need us − whether you've just found out your child is deaf, or you need support as your child reaches young adulthood. Call free on 0808 800 8880 Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm or visit to find out about all the ways NDCS can help you and your family. We also provide a free social care advisory and information service for professionals working with deaf children and young people. Call 0121 234 9825, Email: or visit care advice for more information.
