About Derwent Rural Counselling Service (DRCS) - Long Eaton

Derwent Rural Counselling Service provides a professional and confidential treatment and advice on a variety of emotional concerns, including depression and anxiety. People often find that they have lost their self-confidence or are running low on certain day-to-day capabilities. Our counsellors never criticise, pass judgement, or provide unrealistic advice. Instead, we simply listen and help clients understand why it is they feel the way they do. We formed a partnership with Derbyshire Healthcare Foundation Trust to allow all Derbyshire residents the opportunity to access a high quality counselling service. Operating as Talking Mental Health Derbyshire, this service offers short-term solution focussed counselling. You can access different treatment options: − Guided Self Help − Cognitive Behaviour Therapy − Integrative and Person Centred Counselling − Inter Personal Therapy − Dynamic Interpersonal Therapy − Counselling for Depression − Couples Counselling for Depression − Trauma focussed therapy (EMDR) We are local to all areas across Derbyshire. We have a number of branches throughout the county at various locations and we also operate from a number of GP Surgeries. This service is by self referral.
