Paediatrics - Chesterfield Royal Hospital Nhs Foundation Trust
We offer a service for assessment and subsequent management of children with neuro- developmental or learning needs without associated mental health problems. We work closely as a multi-disciplinary team with a wide range of other services both within and outside the health service. One of the strengths of our service is our co-location with both CAMHS and the Disabled Children's Social work team and our access to The Den specialist nursery. We also have a close relationship with the more specialist services provided by Sheffield Children's Hospital and have visiting clinics run jointly with the Chesterfield Consultants and Specialist consultants in Paediatric Neurology, Clinical Genetics and Orthopaedics on a regular basis. We work closely with the special schools in Chesterfield and The Peak with some clinics running within the schools and all schools having an assigned school doctor.
