Barks, Lisa Marie
I am an experienced childcare provider, having worked with children for over 17 years, 11.5 of these in a senior position within a local setting. I hold my Diploma in Nursery Nursing and an NVQ 4 in Children's Care, Learning and Development. I also have a City and Guilds qualification in assessing NVQ candidates (please ask to see certificates). I have my own 5 year old little boy and 7 month old baby girl, and being a working mum, understand how difficult it is to find someone to suit the high standard of care which we expect for our little ones! I am committed to providing high quality care, love, respect and admiration to each and every child which attends my setting. My aims are to; 1) to provide a positive, happy, family-based environment. 2) to nurture and promote each child's all-round development in a natural and holistic way. 3) to follow each child's individual interests, providing exciting and varied activities - enhanced by the Early Years Foundation Stage. 4) work in partnership with parents to ensure consistency and security. We attend lots of different groups, such as story, music and dance, toddler groups, children's centre activities, visits to various parks and outdoor spaces, soft play, libraries and childminder network meetings to name just a few! I continuously attend relevant training courses to review and update my practices (please ask to see certificates). I am a member of PACEY, hold public liability and Business Insurance and all CRB checks have been completed (please ask to see paperwork) my house has also been inspected by the local fire safety team. Last Ofsted inspection was February 2012 and I gained 'Outstanding in all areas'. Please ask to see copy of the report.
