About Lawrence, Anita Jane

As a registered childminder I provide a welcoming, safe, secure and fun home from home for your child where they can rest, develop, play and learn. I have a variety of resources to help your child have fun including: baby play mat, soft toys, musical instruments, a sandpit, play house, role play, stacking toys, building and construction, puzzles, books, paint, crayons & chalk, little people, creative materials and more. There is a large and secure garden, and my semi-rural location in Stanley Common means there is easy access to the countryside; in addition to playing and exploring wildlife in the garden and gardening itself, we will be going for walks in the countryside and visiting the local park. I am registered with Environmental Health and will provide your child with a variety of healthy meals and snacks, or serve the food you choose to supply. Pets form part of my household, I have a lurcher type dog who is very friendly with children and adults alike - your child will enjoy learning safe boundaries around animals. As well as experience as a parent and volunteer for Homestart Erewash, my formal qualifications include; Diploma in Childcare, Paediatric First Aid, Safeguarding, Child Development, Attachment Training, Promoting Positive Behaviour, Loss & Bereavement, Food Hygiene, Counselling, Equal Opportunities, Additional Needs (please ask to see certificates). I am a member of the Professional Association of Childcare & Early Years. I currently collect/drop off from the following on different days; Stanley St Andrews Primary, Richardson Endowed Primary School in Smalley and Smalley Pre-school. If you attend other local school or pre-school it is worth enquiring to see if I can help as some days are available. This childminder is a member of the Derbyshire Quality Childminding Scheme. Please contact me to talk about how/if I can help meet your childcare requirements. Existing parent clients are happy to provide references for serious enquiries.
