Fridlington, Rachael Kaaron
As an Ofsted registered childminder and qualified special needs teacher for over 15 years, it is my aim to offer a safe, caring and learning environment that is filled with fun, creativity and exploration. Children feel settled and happy in a caring environment that has been designed to cater for their ever growing imagination. Sensory and holistic play is an area I am passionate about and my home has many opportunities for children to explore and develop through play. In my last inspection I was awarded an 'Outstanding' (Please ask to see a copy of the report). Since this I have continued to develop through the early years development team. Some of which include: Paediatric First Aid Certificate, Promoting Positive Behaviour, Child Development 0-5 and 5-11 years, Additional Needs, Music Box Activities, Advanced Safeguarding Children and Young People and Developing Quality Outdoor Learning Experiences, to name but a few. I live in Dronfield Woodhouse with my husband and 2 children and my home has a dedicated playroom. We have a fully enclosed, secure garden with both lawned and patio areas and many outside toys. I strongly believe in accessing the outdoors and enjoying what nature has to offer. I offer many different activities linked to your child's interests. We enjoy activities such as baking, arts and crafts, playing games and stories. I have a range of good quality toys and resources and children flow between inside and outdoor play. We go outside daily in all weathers and love outings on local walks, the park, library, zoo, animal farms and much more. We take part in community groups such as Rhythm and Rhyme and toddler groups. I observe and assess children within the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage and provide you with many photos, daily diaries and learning journals. I offer a friendly and professional service. I believe caring hands help children to grow!!
