Students with Additional Educational Needs are supported at social times with safe havens to use for social activities and homework support; these are staffed by Teaching Assistants and the SENCo. Students are supported with additional Numeracy and Literacy programmes according to their needs, as well as with Individual programmes of Life Skills, where this is appropriate. The school is working towards Dyslexia Friendly Status by the end of 2014, with all staff taking responsibility for this.
