How to refer to the service:: Self via public Freephone Helpline on 08000 198668 (Agency referrals can call 01246 540464) For more information on the services and how to refer, please visit the www.ddvsas.org.uk Advice and Drop-in Centre: A women only space. Informal support and advice around a range of issues such as housing and finance, safety- including self referral to refuge. Also free counselling, access to CAB debt and benefits support and a legal surgery. Art Therapy: Individual art therapy for children and young people, using a range of art materials. Helpline: Informal support and advice and self referral to refuge. Refuge: Safe temporary accommodation for women and their children which includes specialist support for children and young people. Floating Support: Tenancy related support for women and their children who have their own tenancy (local authority, private, owned, housing association). Adult Outreach: Informal support and advice around a range of issues including housing, finance and safety. The service is offered in or near your home. This service is also available to male victims. Children's Outreach: Support and advice for children and young people. Independent Domestic Violence Advocate (IDVA): Support for women and men who are considered to be at high risk of harm, offering safety planning, court support, advice and information. Volunteer Service: Informal 1:1 befriending support, coffee and activity mornings, support of group work sessions. Eligibility Criteria / All services: Women and children who are experiencing or have experienced domestic abuse. Men who are or have experienced domestic abuse can access support through our Adult Outreach and IDVA service. Refuges can accommodate male children to the age of 17. Interpreting services accessible.

Opening Times: Advice and Drop-in Centre - Monday to Thursday 10.00am- 4.00pm Costs: There is only a charge for accommodation in one of the organisation's refuges, but usually most of the cost is covered by application for housing benefit.
