About Derbyshire Wildlife Trust

We deliver a wide range of activities at our centres, in schools, other outreach locations and on our nature reserves throughout Derbyshire. These include practical environmental conservation activities, school grounds improvements, environmental education, field work & bushcraft skills, wildlife i.d., etc. These are delivered during term time and during school holidays for family audiences. We can also deliver programmes through the John Muir Award scheme. We also have membership opportunities for young people through our national 'Watch' scheme to join local dedicated environmental groups in Derbyshire specifically for young people. We also run a Schools Watch membership for schools to access resources and information to increase their' Learning Outside the Classroom' opportunities.
