Information for young people

There are more than 5,000 young people aged between 14 and 25 involved in our Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme programmes at bronze, silver or gold levels in Derbyshire.

If you want to find out more about Duke of Edinburgh's Award Scheme (DofE) − what it is, how it runs − then there is lots of useful information on the national DofE website (opens in a new window)

You will also be able to get information and support from any of our 66 centres or from us at the county office. Find out more and who to contact with your question on our contacts web page.

If you are interested in enrolling for DofE you can find lots of useful information and resources in this section.

This includes:

  • where your nearest centre is

  • how to enrol as an independent participant if there is no centre near you

  • and opportunities in Derbyshire.
