Six good reasons to choose us as your staff training provider

Reputation

In May 2012 Ofsted rated our support to employers and learners in the workplace as 'good'. You can view the report on the Ofsted website (opens in a new window) or read testimonials.

Experience

We are well-established as an adult education provider. We have the largest Skills for Life programme in the county and regularly work with over 13,000 learners in more than 100 venues across Derbyshire each year. With more than 700 qualified staff and a diverse programme of more than 3,000 courses we are confident we can provide a training programme to meet your needs.

Convenience

We have a core network of adult community education centres throughout Derbyshire. Each centre is strategically placed to provide good access and well-equipped facilities.

Value for money

As a not-for-profit organisation we can deliver exceptional value for money. Our staff will be happy to discuss your requirements and supply you with an initial costing with no obligation.

Flexibility

We can deliver the course of your choice at a time and place suitable for your needs including your workplace. Our scheduled programme of courses can be adapted to meet your requirements or if you are looking for something very specific we can develop new courses just for you.

Partnerships

Being part of a large local authority we have access to a wealth of information and expertise in other departments, including the library service. The service also has an effective working relationship with other partners, such as JobCentre Plus.
