Information, advice and guidance

We can offer a range of information and advice services:

• to ensure you choose the right course

• to help you decide where to progress to next if you are finishing a course

• to discuss what is the best route to take for your future work and career aspirations

• to help you add to your present skills and experiences

All the staff at our centres will provide you with information on course content, times, costs and availability of spaces. If you are on a course with us your tutor will help you discuss where you may wish to progress to next.

If you require a more in depth interview then we can offer free 1:1 advice and guidance.

Free Impartial 1:1 Advice

If you are thinking about returning to learn, updating your skills or changing direction at work then we have a team of advisors who can help you make the right choices. There will be an advisor in the area you live in, just call in to your local Adult Education Centre to make an appointment.

If you prefer we can also offer advice over the phone.

Our team of advisors are qualified and experienced in offering advice and guidance in all areas of learning and work. Advice sessions are free and confidential. Priority will be given to people who have yet to obtain a full level 2 qualification.
