Job vacancies
Sorry, we don't currently have any job vacancies at the Derbyshire Eco Centre. If you are an experienced trainer in a sustainability-linked subject and you would like to suggest courses that we might offer in future, please contact us.
Volunteering with us
We actively encourage people to become volunteers and there are plenty of ways to get involved.
Roles include helping on celebration days, helping set up practical courses on the day, helping with admin work and doing hard landscaping to develop the site.
Whether you are passionate about sustainability, are looking at getting back into work or extending your CV, or if you're retired and want to share your experience, we have opportunities at the centre.
We interview potential volunteers so we have a shared idea of what would be involved in their role. Like our staff, volunteers are also subject to a Criminal Record Bureau check. Some volunteers work as part of a regular weekly group, others come as individuals to help out.
Please contact us if you'd like to volunteer.
Bespoke courses
If you are a group of people with shared interests and a common learning or training need, we can organise a course for you.
We have great facilities and expert tutors in a wide range of subjects. They are experienced in tutoring people from all sorts of backgrounds and levels of experience.
The centre is in a wonderful setting and local to many sites and attractions. It is a well-placed and inspiring venue.
Contact us for more information and to discuss your ideas and requirements.
