Day courses
White Hall has a fantastic range of facilities on site, which include an indoor climbing wall; extensive ropes courses with high and low level zip wires; orienteering courses and an exciting selection of problem solving and initiative activities.
Day courses are usually run between 10am and 4pm.
They are normally based in the centre grounds.
Off site activities e.g canoeing and caving can be arranged subject to available transport at an extra cost. Prices for these courses can be obtained from the centre.
Different types of activity require suitable staffing ratios - for example:
1:20 - appropriate for a part staffed day with a White Hall instructor leading sessions as well as visiting party leaders running an appropriate activity.
1:10 - our standard ratio for group adventure activities.
1:5 - this ratio offers more technical skills training with closer tutorial support.

Free places are offered for accompanying party organisers/leaders/teachers on a ratio suitable to the type of group.
Course fees include tuition by nationally qualified instructors and all specialist technical equipment.
Groups need to bring their own packed lunches. It may be possible for us to provide lunch, but only if this is requested at the time of booking.
