Adult day centres
Following the government's announcement of the road map we've been working hard with colleagues in public health and health and safety to work out how to increase the numbers of people able to use our services.
In making these decisions it is important we fully consider the safety and welfare of all our service users, their families and our staff.
We are using the dates in the road map as a basis for planning to open services but the national easing of restrictions are conditional on the numbers of COVID-19 cases remaining low.
So provisionally from 17 May 2021 we aim to start reopening some more of our day centres, taking into account social distancing, but also being fair to everyone who would like to return. There will be some centres that are unable to open at that time, but we will be looking at ensuring there is equity in the offer of places available and considering alternative options.
