Derbyshire Local Management of Schools Scheme for financing schools
This scheme sets out the financial relationship between Derbyshire County Council and the maintained schools which it funds.It contains requirements relating to financial management and associated issues, which are binding on both the council and on the schools.
This scheme applies to all community, voluntary, foundation, community special and foundation special schools in the area of Derbyshire County Council. The scheme will also apply to any new maintained schools. Unless specifically stated otherwise, the provisions of this scheme apply to any nursery school maintained by the council.
