The national eGovernment programme came to an end in April 2006. Here you can find out more about Implementing Electronic Government and how we performed in the initiative.

Implementing Electronic Government was part of a national programme to reform and modernise public services.

We were required to make all services possible available electronically by December 2005.

To show our progress we had to submit Implementing Electronic Government (IEG) returns to the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister (ODPM).

The IEG6 return marked the end of the IEG programme.

Our IEG returns are available below and show how we performed against the Government's targets.

The Department for Communities and Local Government now holds information on the eGovernment programme. You can find out more by visiting their site through the related links section.
