Performance information is important as it enables us and the public to see how well we are delivering services and where we need to make improvements.
We are committed to continuous improvement to the way we work and the services we provide.
To help us achieve this we produce a performance report each year which covers the how we have performed that year and our priorities for the next year.
We are also assessed against a new framework called a Comprehensive Area Assessment (CAA). This replaces the Comprehensive Performance Assessment and is a new way of assessing local public services in England. It examines how well councils are working together with other public bodies to meet the needs of the people they service. It is a joint assessment made up of a group of six independent watchdogs. Assessments will be made publically available every year and will provide an annual snapshot of quality of life in Derbyshire.
We also monitor our performance using local and national indicators across a range of services provided by the council and partner organisations.
