Annual review
As set out in recent Local Area Agreement (LAA) Operational Guidance each LAA will be subject to an annual review.The Local Area Agreement approved in June 2008, contained a number of indicators where there was either no information to set baselines, definitions for the indicators were not available or indicators had been revised. The 2008/09 review was an opportunity to revisit these outstanding issues and negotiate targets.
The key aim of the 2009/10 review is to reflect on progress against agreed targets rather than reopening negotiations. The main area of work has been to agree baselines which were not available at the 2008/09 Refresh and targets for the indicators which were not locked down for reward in the previous year.
