Governor access to school extranet

Governors and clerks to governors can now get direct access to the schools extranet.

This is at the discretion of leadership and governing bodies of each school. Governors can continue to get access via staff if preferred.

If a school wants to offer direct access they can set up a governor with an OpenHive account.

At the moment it is recommended that only one governor per school is signed up.

Governors with direct access would not be able to use the secure areas on the extranet as secure pupil data is shared.

To get access, contact the schools extranet administrator who will be able to setup the user on OpenHive ID. See the administrator guidance which can be found in the 'get help' section on the extranet.

Email caya.schoolsupport@derbyshire.gov.uk if you have any queries.
