Grants up for grabs to provide short breaks
Voluntary, Community and Independant groups have the chance to bid for a share of £65,000 to provide short breaks for children and younger people with disabilities and additional needs.
We're inviting bids for grant funding to carry out projects or purchase equipment to improve or enable short break opportunities for children and young people with disabilities or additional needs.
Short breaks are fun activities that last for anything from an hour or two per week to a holiday away - or anything in between.

The money has come from the Department for Education's capital funding to create better access to short breaks by providing new equipment, adaptations and facilities for disabled children and young people.
The deadline for applications is March 18.
