Aim

Consultation feedback on the Initial Evidence Base - May 2010

The Local Democracy, Economic Development and Construction Act 2009 places a duty on principal local authorities to prepare an assessment of the economic conditions of their area in conjunction with district authorities and other local partners.

Derbyshire's Local Economic Assessment will provide a robust evidence base to underpin future work to shape Derbyshire's economy, including the work of the Derbyshire Economic Partnership, and a number of key strategic documents such as: the Sustainable Community Strategy, Sub-regional Investment Plans, Local Development Framework, and the Single Regional Strategy.

It is important to gather comments and contributions from local partners on this document, therefore please see the Consultation Feedback Form in the related documents section, which outlines the various ways you can respond to this consultation.
