Derbyshire and Derby City Schools Library Service (SLS)
What this consultation is about
We'd like you to give us your views on the proposed closure of the Derbyshire and Derby City Schools Library Service (SLS).
Currently, the service jointly provided by us and Derby City Council, provides support and resources to schools and educational establishments, with the main resource being artefacts, as well as books, paintings, prints, posters, DVDs, CDs, textiles and resource packs.
Use of the SLS has been declining affecting the service's ability to generate income.
We're now holding a six week consultation and in this time you will be able to tell us what you think about our proposal.
