About Me
I was elected on to the council in May 2005 and as well as being Vice-chair of the above scrutiny committee I'm also a member of the Services for Children Improvement and Scrutiny Committee and represent the council on the Derbyshire Fire Authority.
In addition I’m a South Derbyshire District councillor for Newhall and Stanton, Chair of the Newhall and Midway Crime Reduction group, Vice-chair of Swadlincote Community Transport, Chair of Newhall Infant and Nursery School and on the committees of Friends of Newhall Park and the Nadins Trust.

You can also come along to any of Derbyshire County Council meetings which take place six times a year, usually on a Wednesday afternoon, at its headquarters in Matlock.
