About Me
It's a privilege and a pleasure to represent the Aston and Melbourne division on the county council since I was first elected in 2000. I'm currently a member of its Healthier Communities Improvement and Scrutiny Committee and represent the council on the Derbyshire Fire Authority. I'm also a South Derbyshire District councillor for Melbourne ward, a governor of Chellaston School and Sale and Davy's CE Primary School and Chairman of each of the liaison committee for the Elvaston, Shardlow and Swarkestone quarries.
I've a special interest in the elderly, sport and leisure, ongoing access to Chellaston School for children in the Aston and Melbourne division, East Midlands airport and helping constituents resolve their concerns. Below you'll find details of when I hold my surgeries, how to contact me and some of the issues relating to this area. There's also the chance for you to have your say, good or bad, on county council related matters so you can help shape what we do and how we do it, both now and in years to come.

Have Your Say
|
I'm always keen to get your feedback, good or bad, on county council related matters so you can help shape what we do and how we do it, both now and in years to come. Young people may prefer to make their voice heard through the council's b line (opens in a new window) site or magazine. You can also come along to any of Derbyshire County Council meetings which take place six times a year, usually on a Wednesday afternoon, at its headquarters in Matlock. You can either just watch the proceedings or you can ask a question. Details of how to do this are available here. |
