Your council
I have been (and remain) a resident in the Marsh Lane community of many years standing. I was first elected on to the council in July 2008 and re-elected in June 2009.
I am currently shadow Cabinet Member for Technology and Recycling and a member of the Finance, Management and Regeneration Improvement and Scrutiny Committee.
My local duties include my service as a Ridgeway Education Trust member and Chair of the Three Valleys Countryside Management project.
If you want to contact me about any aspect of Derbyshire County Council’s business or services you can do so by using the following details:
I will be holding coffee mornings and street surgeries throughout the area which will be publicised through local leaflets and community notices.
Residents with mobility difficulties or communication problems are welcome to invite home visits, mini comm. contact or other alternative arrangements (if preferred) in place of attendance at the community surgeries - use one of the contact details given here.
You can also come along to any of Derbyshire County Council meetings which take place six times a year, usually on a Wednesday afternoon, at its headquarters in Matlock. You can either just watch the proceedings or you can ask a question. For details of how to do this please read our openness at meetings page.
I represent the council on a number of outside organisations or bodies
