Sue Allsop

Susan Allsop

I was elected on to the council in June 2009 and, as well as the position below, I'm a member of the Places Improvement and Scrutiny Commitee.

I am a retired general medical practitioner having had a practice in Dronfield until 2001. I feel that over the years I have developed the ability to listen to people's concerns and to act in response, skills which I hope I will be able to bring to my work as a councillor.

I am married to John, also a county councillor, with two adult children and one grandchild.

You can also come along to any of Derbyshire County Council meetings which take place five times a year, usually on a Wednesday afternoon, at its headquarters in Matlock. You can either just watch the proceedings or you can ask a question.
