About Me

I was elected on to the council in May 2005. As well as providing cabinet member support, I sit on the authority's Improvement and Scrutiny committees for Services for Children and Resources and on its Regulatory Licensing and Appeals Committee. I also represent the county council on the Derbyshire Combined Fire Authority and Shirland on North East Derbyshire District Council.

You can also come along to any of Derbyshire County Council meetings which take place six times a year, usually on a Wednesday afternoon, at its headquarters in Matlock. You can either just watch the proceedings or you can ask a question. Details of how to do this are available here
