George Wharmby

I was first elected on to the council in May 2005 and I'm particularly proud to represent the area I was born in. As well as the positions above, I am also a member of the council's Communities, Culture and the Environment Improvement and Scrutiny Committee.
I am married to Jean, also a county councillor, and we have two sons and two grandsons.
