Dave Wilcox

I became a county councillor in 1981 and served on the Cabinet as member for External Affairs for six years until 2007.
Before that I had responsibility for various local authority functions - education, libraries, highways, fire and trading standards. I also used to be the Chairman of East Midlands Airport plc.
I'm currently on the council's People Improvement and Scrutiny Committee and represent it on the Peak District National Park Authority Joint Advisory body.
