About Me

I was elected on to the council in May 2005 and as well as my cabinet member support role I sit on two Improvement and Scrutiny Committees - Healthier Communities and Resources. I'm also on the council's pensions and investments committees, and represent the authority on the Erewash Council for Voluntary Service.

In addition I’m a governor on Dallimore Primary School and at Kirk Hallam Technology College.

Below you’ll find details of when I hold my surgeries, how to contact me and some of the issues relating to this area. There’s also the chance for you to have your say, good or bad, on county council related matters so you can help shape what we do and how we do it, both now and in years to come.

Have Your Say

I'm always keen to get your feedback, good or bad, on county council related matters so you can help shape what we do and how we do it, both now and in years to come. Young people may prefer to make their voice heard through the council's b line (opens in a new window) site or magazine.

You can also come along to any of our meetings which take place six times a year, usually on a Wednesday afternoon, at its headquarters in Matlock. You can either just watch the proceedings or you can ask a question. Details of how to do this are available here.

Outside bodies
