I was initially elected on to the council in 1967 where, as well as the above position, I’m a member of the Regulatory Planning Committee and represent the council on the Derbyshire Combined Fire Authority.

You can also come along to any of Derbyshire County Council meetings (opens in a new window) which take place six times a year, usually on a Wednesday afternoon, at its headquarters in Matlock. You can either just watch the proceedings or you can ask a question.
