I was initially elected on to the council in 1967 and currently sit on its Regulatory Planning and Control Committee and its Sustainable and Safe Communities Improvement and Scrutiny Committee. You can also come along to any of Derbyshire County Council meetings which take place six times a year, usually on a Wednesday afternoon, at its headquarters in Matlock.
