About me

I was first elected on to the council in 1997 where I’m currently a member of the Finance, Management and Regeneration Improvement and Scrutiny Committee.

I also represent it on the Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service and on the Local Government Association, and I’m a Derbyshire Dales district councillor for Matlock St. Giles and Matlock Town councillor for Hurst Farm.

You can also come along to any of Derbyshire County Council meetings (opens in a new window) which take place six times a year, usually on a Wednesday afternoon, at its headquarters in Matlock. You can either just watch the proceedings or you can ask a question.
